Meridian Stress Analysis (MSA) and Treatment 

The MSA computer system is considered to be an EAV device and is being renamed an MSA device. EAV or electro acupuncture according to Voll was developed in the 1950’s by Dr. Reinhard Voll in Germany. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in medicine which he did not win but was eventually awarded a similar prize given to him by the Vatican. 

The BioMeridian company (http://www.biomeridian.com/) that manufactures the MSA system has renamed the process Meridian Stress Assessment or MSA and is working with the FDA to get it approved using that nomenclature.Dr. Voll was a physician who understood traditional acupuncture and where all the acupuncture points were located. He knew how to place needles to add or subtract energy as mentioned above. 

He postulated that, since the acupuncture system was based on energy flow, it was an electromagnetic force that could be measured with simple electrical meter measuring devices. 

He used and developed a special system of measuring electrical skin resistance with a biofeedback type electrical meter used at the ends of the acupuncture meridians on the fingers and the toes. 

He worked for many years testing patients with known medical diseases and developed the data where recurring observation in the measurements indicated that certain disease states were indicated by the certain specific set of measurements he obtained. 

Scientists in Utah developed a computer program that is able to process the MSA readings to test Meridian Stress and is able to balance that stress with digitized signals of tens of thousands of environmental substances. 

The basic allergy and homeopathic principles of "small amounts of a toxic substance can balance the toxic effect of a large amount of the substance" is ready made for ELECTRODERMAL TESTING. 

When the MSA finds an out-of-balance meridian, the MSA computer can search its memory (with the help of the operator) to find the frequency of the substance that it takes to balance that meridian. Once that substance is ascertained, it becomes the remedy for that patient. 

The MSA has within its memory the electrical frequency of several thousand substances including: 

•     Most of the homeopathic remedies

•     Grass, weed and tree pollens

•     Animal dander’s, dust, birds and fish

•     Foods

•     Phenolic compounds that make up foods

•     Toxic chemicals and pesticides

•     Dental materials

•     Molds

•     Drugs and pharmaceutical products

•     Bacteria and virus particles.

•     Organs in healthy and diseased states.

•     X-ray and radiation frequencies.

•     Many other miscellaneous toxins. 

A full MSA workup can focus on many different subjects for the creation of many different remedies. Once the appropriate remedy is calculated to balance out-of-balance points, the appropriate remedy can be prescribed. 

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration had considered EAV devices to be considered for investigational use only and required its use to be considered research. This is no longer the case with the MSA and MSA. We are coming one step closer to having third party payers reimburse patients for its use. 

In the case of allergy treatment and diagnosis, it is correlated with the RAST blood testing or with traditional skin testing. In the case of homeopathic evaluation, it is correlated with a traditional homeopathic history and case taking procedures.
